Welcome to Country and 12 May 5:22pm will be Auslan interpreted
Each sunset of Next Wave, a new artist leads us through a new Ritual.
Set to the rhythm of the sun, we start by paying our respects to Country and Elders before setting off on our pilgrimage across the Festival.
Curated by Next Wave Creative Producer Erica McCalman, Ritual sees 16 artists lead you through a sunset pilgrimage across the festival. Artists will be revealed each morning on Facebook and Instagram, follow #nwritual. Begin at Blak Dot Gallery at 5.31pm on Thu 3 May, and go from there.
Gather at sunset with friends and ancestors – bring sturdy shoes and an open heart.
